December 22’ Reflection
Every December we host clients for a day of reflection. We slow the pace, enjoy our efforts and glean as much as we can from the year that's been.
Feel free to use these questions to start this process yourself:
The 3 Mistakes Killing Your Annual Review
Do you feel like you're running on fumes? 😴🎄
Here's a little exercise to help, plus a few tips on how to avoid the 3 mistakes business owners most commonly make. 👊
SWIM 🏊♂️ or SLIP🌪 ?
Are you SWIMMING toward the invisible finish line that is Christmas? Or are you SLIPPING? Here’s how to use our 6-week planning process to get control of yourself and your business and and power into the new year.
How much time do I need to invest?
Growing your business is going to take time. It's not just about turning up to the coaching sessions each week or fortnight. We do need to allocate some time outside of those to actually execute the project and the plans that we come up with during your alignment and throughout the coaching process.
How long do I need to commit for?
Anytime we make a purchasing decision we want to know what we're up for, what the level of commitment is, and how long we need to be committed for.
Coaching is no different.
How long will it take to get RESULTS?
A question I often get asked is how long is this process going to take? How long will it take me to build a business that isn't dependent on me being there, but still makes a great profit?
What will we cover in a coaching session?
The regular coaching sessions have two main purposes. Firstly accountability for the execution of your action plan, and secondly, to ensure any adjustments required are made from week to week.
The real reason you’re always busy
Are you making pretty good money, but feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day to make the improvements to your business that would make things run smoother?
How much does a business coach cost?
If you’re asking how much you should expect to spend when hiring a coach, then I’m guessing 2 things:
1. You aren’t yet performing at your potential as a business owner.
How to get to the next level
I got my purple belt in Jiu jitsu last week.
Before the ceremonial tying of the belt, my coach Luis called everyone in to form a circle and gave a short speech that was really quite profound.
Are good people hard to find in your industry?
What if you could create a system that produced an endless stream of quality people?
One of my clients has been working on exactly that.
How we learn to Navigate the world around us
Pruning trees with my kids on the weekend got me thinking about how we learn to navigate the world around us. From an early age we build a mental map of the behaviours which get the results we’re seeking.
‘The Q-Storm’
Do you ever find yourself circulating on the same question over and over, unable to find an answer?
HOW do I find time to work on the things I know are important❓
HOW do I find more quality employees❓
HOW do I generate more profit❓
I am a coach, but (embarrassingly) I haven't always had a coach.
I am a coach, but (embarrassingly) I haven't always had a coach. 😳 Starting out, I had no cash reserves, just a credit card with a 5k limit…
Switching off isn’t easy
Switching off isn’t easy for me. I love my craft, and I’m always thinking about ways to get better, and how to help my clients do the same.
At the same time, I realise the importance of rest and recovery.
You started your business…
You started your business so that you could eventually do what you wanted, when you wanted, right?
So why is it that you’ve got less time to enjoy life than your employees?
Have you flicked the switch?
I just wrapped up a session with a client, and I'm going to share with you a couple of insights that I think will be helpful for you in your business. It's been a couple of weeks since I've seen this client, and it turns out that he's off track from achieving his goals.
What do you see?
What do you see?
I must admit when the waitress first delivered the drinks to our table I was pretty pleased about the situation. 😜
But then my thoughts drifted to the owner...
Process (coffee)
A few months back, my brother-in-law informed me that I'd been making stovetop espresso all wrong. ☕
After several hours of researching on YouTube I began testing different techniques and finally settled on one that produced a much better cup of coffee.
Book a 15-min phone call
and lets see if this is right for you.
There’s no commitment, pressure, or obligation, just an honest conversation.
