How much time do I need to invest?
Growing your business is going to take time. It's not just about turning up to the coaching sessions each week or fortnight. We do need to allocate some time outside of those to actually execute the project and the plans that we come up with during your alignment and throughout the coaching process.
As a general rule, it's about 10% of your working week that you should allocate to working on your business. If you heard that and you're freaking out, thinking that's 4 or 5 hours a week, I don't have that, I totally understand. I want you to think of this as more of a dial than a switch. It's something that we increase over time.
If you've been working zero hours a week on your business then it's a big jump to go to 4, so we start with 1 hour, then we go to 2, 3, and 4 hours.
Rest assured, one of the first things that we work on in the coaching process is mastering your time. That involves doing a time diary, getting all of the things you do down on paper, and then working out what we can do, delegate, defer or delete.
We create a new calendar that is built around the cornerstone of growing this business, which is the time to work on it, not just in it.
Trust this is helpful.
