The 1-Page Financial Plan

If you want to grow your business over the next 3 to 5 years - you need a solid financial plan.

Sounds great (in theory at least), but with so many moving parts, it’s easy for it to slip to the bottom of your to-do list… and stay there.

When we help our clients tackle this, we strip it back to “The Big 7”:

1️⃣ People - Who do you need to bring into the business to grow? What skills are missing right now?

2️⃣ Plant + Equipment - Laptops, vehicles, machinery ... what assets will you need to get to the next level?

3️⃣ Premises - Is your current space big enough to support future growth in team and customers?

4️⃣ Systems + Tech - What processes need improvement? Do you need software upgrades or new tools to scale?

5️⃣ Marketing + Sales - How will you win and keep more ideal clients? Do you need to invest more in marketing or outside expertise?

6️⃣ Overheads - As you grow, your overheads will too. Think power, insurance, subscriptions ... all the hidden extras.

7️⃣ Funding - How will you fund this growth? Will it come from cash flow, or do you need external support?

We created a practical worksheet to help our clients map out their Big 7 - a simple, actionable step toward a financial plan that works - on one page 📝.
