How much does a business coach cost?

If you’re asking how much you should expect to spend when hiring a coach, then I’m guessing 2 things:

    1.    You aren’t yet performing at your potential as a business owner.

    2.    You recognise that to reach that potential you need external input.

If that’s the case, then the first question to consider is: What’s the dollar value of the gap between where you are now and where you know you could be?

By the way, if you’d like help putting some real figures around what this gap might be, then I recommend scheduling a Strategy Session.

The purpose of engaging a coach is to help you bridge this performance gap. So a good coach should help you achieve a return many times over your investment.

There are many coaching models, and all have their strengths and weaknesses.

Group coaching programs typically have a minimum of 3 participants and run for 60-90 minutes on a fortnightly basis. They’re less personalised as the coach will be splitting their focus across the group, but do have a lower entry point, often starting from $500 per month.

One on one programs will involve 60 minute sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis, and are much more personalised as the coach will be focused solely on the owner for the entire session. This means a higher entry point, typically from $1000 to $5000 per month.

The type of program that suits you best will depend on your business’s revenue/profit, your goals and how fast you want to achieve them.

For example, Acquisition.com owner Alex Homozzi recently paid 120,000 for 4 phone calls with sales trainer Grant Cardone.

Personally the clients I work best with want a highly personalised service; they want to go deeper, further and faster than they would on their own. So they prefer weekly one to one coaching.

If you’re curious about what you might be able to achieve with a coach in your corner, you can book a free 15-min call.
