Perfect Planning

I've been on a slow and kinesthetic journey over the last 2 years, gradually learning the art of planning.

I am not an organised person, by nature. In-fact quite the opposite.

On the other hand, I am naturally results-driven.

What I've learned (first-hand), is that without proper planning, my results suffer. To quote my Dad, "P#ss poor planning, results in p#ss poor performance".

I didn't like that, so I committed to improving.

If you're serious about getting better results in your life, then you better get serious about planning too.

There are so many books, podcasts, and resources on the topic that beginning the process can feel overwhelming, so let me share something that may help you out.

A key tool I've utilized in my journey has been the 'High Performance Planner' by Brendon Buchard (see picture above).

Initially, I really struggled with was the alignment of daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and this planner has helped me to do that effectively.

Honestly, I believe there's no such thing as a 'perfect plan'. But I do know, that planning is a skill that will not only improve the quality of your results but will also make the process of getting there a whole lot more enjoyable.

I'd love to hear what has had the biggest impact on your planning?
